Get to Know Me

My desire in creating this community was to build a space where young ladies can discover their true identity as daughters of The Most High God.  

 

Once I began to truly understand my identity as a daughter of God, I realized all of the areas in my life that could have been so much different had I truly embraced this truth earlier in life.  From self-esteem and self-care to friendships, relationships, and even career decisions; life would have been markedly improved if I had known who I was sooner in life.  This is where a desire was birthed in me to share Biblical truths of identity with the younger generation.; to spare them from the frustration, stagnation, and isolation that not knowing who you are creates.

 

I am a wife, a mother, a licensed educator, a corporate accountant, a volunteer organization leader, and a ministry leader.  In all of these roles, I have been blessed to meet some truly phenomenal women who know their identity as daughters of God.  They operate in various industries and all of them have a lot of wisdom to offer.  Forever Daddy’s Girls is not a one-woman show; it’s a community.  Forever Daddy’s Girls is a safe space where young ladies can be open and honest, gain wisdom, and connect with women who have walked farther down the path of life and can offer encouragement, support and resources to help the next generation to become successful and avoid some of the pitfalls created by a lack of godly identity.

 

Now, I like to have fun!  I am not a stuffy person.  I love to laugh, try new foods, and play competitive games (not too serious, though).  I’m learning to enjoy a little more pampering and niceties, and I’d love the opportunity to share some of these experiences with other daughters of God as we grow together in grace and in knowledge of God and of ourselves in Him.
